Mathews-Tom 7db1a8d265 fix(pi-walker): resolve clippy errors blocking CI ...

Drop the unused OsStringExt import and mark file_type_from_dtype /
file_type_from_mode as const fn. These deny-warnings clippy lints on the
merged base broke Native: Linux x64 builds; the fix is required for this
PR's merge commit to pass CI.
