- collectMcpServerNames now unions userConfig.disabledServers so a
third-party-discovered server that was /mcp disable'd (and thus dropped
from mcpManager.getAllServerNames()) still tab-completes as an /mcp
enable target.
- collectMcpServerNames accepts an optional preloaded { userConfig,
projectConfig }; #handleList() passes what it already read instead of
re-reading both config files a second time.
- /mcp's argument completer catches collectMcpServerNames failures (e.g.
malformed config JSON) and returns null instead of letting the
rejection escape un-awaited callers.
Adds an exported collectMcpServerNames() helper (used by both /mcp list
and the new completer) and a runtime-bound getArgumentCompletions for
/mcp that resolves server names after enable/disable/test/remove/
reconnect/reauth/unauth, filtered by the typed prefix. Subcommands with
a different argument shape (add, smithery-search, ...) keep returning
null, and subcommand-name completion is unaffected.
Closes#5654.
- Added `src/live/` subsystem with WebRTC transport, protocol parser, session controller, and headless Chromium audio injection.
- Added `LiveVisualizer` component with phase states, transcript display, and animated waveform rendering.
- Added `/live` slash command and `LiveCommandController` to toggle live voice sessions.
- Suppressed local TTS via `vocalizer.suspend()` during live mode to prevent audio conflicts.
- Added live-instructions and agent-final-message prompts for agent messaging context.
- Added `protocol.test.ts` covering event parsing, chunking, and context message construction.
- Pinned displaceable snapshots like hub waiting polls and todo lists to the viewport during active execution.
- Prevented unpinned spinner ticks from repeatedly committing mutating rows to native scrollback and force-sealing blocks.
- Extracted internal handlers and logic from AgentSession into dedicated runner, guard, and coordinator modules.
- Created standalone modules for bash execution, evaluation runners, IRC bridging, and prewalk coordination.
- Established dedicated session components for tracking stats, todos, streams, and retry fallback chains.
- Preserved existing session behavior while significantly reducing monolithic class size and complexity.
A single hung/slow poll now aborts with TimeoutError after 30s; without
this, that one timeout escaped #waitForSmitheryCliApiKey and dropped the
browser login to the manual API-key fallback instead of retrying until
the 5-minute deadline. Catch isTimeoutError in the poll loop and
continue; export SmitheryCliPollResponse to type the retried response.
Moved vocalizer interruption from agent_start to user message_start so agentLoopContinue preserves queued speech.
Expanded regression coverage for continuation starts and user prompt boundaries.
Fixes#6375
- Serialized backend transitions across runtime state, tools, and prompts.
- Rehydrated Mnemopi listeners after clear and enqueue maintenance.
- Made memory.backend the sole post-migration local runtime gate.
Fixes#5638
Status presenters (showWarning/showError/showStatus and extension/tool
error presenters) baked theme.fg() into Text at construction, so a
warning shown while the auto-theme default guess was dark kept the
dark-mode color after async appearance detection switched the active
theme to light — dark-catppuccin Mocha yellow on the light Latte
background (1.12:1 contrast, effectively invisible).
Add Text.setStyleFn(), a foreground styler evaluated at render time, and
route the transient status presenters through it. Because the coding
agent invalidates status components on onThemeChange, a theme swap now
re-shapes them against the live theme instead of replaying the palette
active when they were constructed.
Fixes#6337
- Consolidated Jujutsu (jj) integration logic into a centralized utility module with working-copy and status handling.
- Removed deprecated jj-info helper modules and their corresponding test files.
- Updated status line component and associated tests to consume the new centralized jj utility API.
- Added comprehensive test coverage for working-copy label parsing, status summary mapping, and repository root resolution.
- Replaced single-provider preferences with ordered priority lists for web search and image generation.
- Added a `MultiSelectSubmenu` component supporting toggle and reordering interactions in settings.
- Implemented migration logic to convert legacy single-provider preferences into ordered priority lists.
- Updated setup wizard scenes, image generation fallback logic, and search provider chains to use priority lists.
Moved vocalizer clearing from each assistant/tool continuation boundary to the start of a new agent run.
Added regression coverage for uninterrupted internal turns and new-run interruption.
Fixes#6375
Reverted branch-side edits to spawn-policy prompts/tests, settings tab
groups, mermaid cache typing, prewalk todo gating, and packages/ai test
churn back to merge-base content; trimmed their changelog entries. These
repaired stale CI against an older main and are stale or conflicting
against current main.
Kept the bare 'π' brand per owner direction: the separator between the
brand and the session label now carries the state — '>' when it's the
user's turn (idle), animated spinner frames while working, '!' when the
agent is blocked on the user. Disabled ('tui.titleState' off) renders the
pre-state 'π: label' layout. Updated the state/runtime tests to the new
contract.
Two fixes on top of the paged transport:
- Near-limit v2 framing no longer materializes the full base64 transport:
chunk lines are generated lazily from a single serialization, the 64 MiB
reassembly ceiling is enforced via Buffer.byteLength before any
full-payload allocation, and RPC stdout writes drain with backpressure
one physical line at a time. Peak RSS for a 63 MiB response drops
~686 MB -> ~521 MB; a rejected 80 MiB response drops ~507 MB -> ~259 MB
(parity with the v1 path).
- get_messages_page errors now carry a machine-readable code
(session_busy | stale_cursor). Both bundled clients' high-level
getMessages() drains discard partial pages and fall back to the legacy
snapshot on either code — previously a cursor invalidated by a
background mutation (e.g. an appended bash message) threw instead of
falling back. Direct page calls remain strict.
