- Added a `/context` slash command flow from registry to interactive-mode command dispatch.
- Added `handleContextCommand()` to the mode context interface and command-controller wiring.
- Added context usage breakdown utilities, cell allocation, and 20x10 usage rendering for token categories.
- Reworked compaction token estimation to use tokenizer counts, role aggregation, image token estimates, and fallback handling.
- Exported `resolveThresholdTokens()` as a public compaction helper.
- dropSession: close persist writer before deletion to prevent EPERM
on Windows where an open file handle blocks unlink
- #runNewSessionFlow: guard UI reset on newSession return value;
session_before_switch hook cancellation now prevents chat state
being cleared and success banner being shown
/drop works like /new but permanently deletes the current session file
and artifacts instead of flushing (saving) it. Useful when the session
should not be kept.
- add drop?: boolean to NewSessionOptions
- branch in AgentSession.newSession(): skip flush, delete via
FileSessionStorage.deleteSessionWithArtifacts when drop=true;
deletion failure is non-fatal (logged, new session still starts)
- wire handleDropCommand() through InteractiveModeContext interface,
InteractiveMode delegation, and CommandController implementation
- guard: shows error if session has not been saved yet (no file to drop)
- register /drop in builtin-registry adjacent to /new
- Propagated session title source through terminal-title update calls so auto and user names are handled consistently across controllers.
- Suppressed auto-generated names in status-line segments and completion messages by falling back to cwd-based titles.
- Updated title formatter tests to verify auto-generated and user-specified session titles produce different terminal labels.
- Add /rename <title> slash command to set an explicit session name,
updating the session header, terminal tab title, and status line
- Add session_name status segment: displays the session name on the
right side of the status bar with a stable djb2-hash-derived accent
color unique to each name; shown in all presets when a name is set
- Add setSessionName source tracking ('user' vs 'auto'): auto-generated
titles are silently ignored once the user has explicitly set a name,
preventing the async title generation from overwriting a /rename
- Sanitize session names at storage time: strip C0/C1 control characters
(including ANSI ESC) via static #sanitizeName before storing, blocking
escape sequence injection into the TUI, terminal title, and session file
- Extend sanitizeStatusText to cover the full C0/C1 range as
defense-in-depth (superset of the previous \r\n\t-only strip)
- Use stored (sanitized) name for showStatus message and terminal title
in handleRenameCommand, not the raw user input
- Guard terminal title update in auto-title path via titleSource === 'auto'
so a user rename is never overwritten by a late-resolving LLM call
- Reset #titleSource in #newSessionSync so each new session starts fresh
- Thread source parameter through AgentSession.setSessionName wrapper;
extension API and RPC set_session_name treated as 'user' intent
Closes#658
- Fixed usage report generation to preserve partial data when parsing payloads are incomplete.

- Added asynchronous LSP server discovery and warmup at startup via `discoverStartupLspServers()` function.
- Added LSP startup event channel (`lsp:startup`) for real-time server status notifications during warmup.
- Added `LspStartupServerInfo` type to track LSP server status (connecting, ready, error) throughout lifecycle.

- Refactored chunk tree implementation with dedicated modules for edit, indent, resolve, and state management with comprehensive validation.
- Moved clipboard utilities from native bindings to coding-agent package with improved OSC 52 and Termux compatibility.
- Move lifecycle end event after finalizeSubprocessOutput() so
submit_result({status:'aborted'}) is correctly reflected in the
observer instead of showing completed/failed (P1)
- Reset observer registry on session resume and /new command so
stale subagent sessions from prior conversations are cleared (P2)
- Cache parsed JSONL transcript incrementally: track byte offset,
only read and parse new bytes on each refresh instead of reparsing
the entire file, avoiding render loop blocking on large sessions (P2)
- Added `/tools` slash command to display agent-visible tools in interactive sessions.
- Added `handleToolsCommand()` method to InteractiveMode to delegate tools display to command controller.
- Added `buildToolsMarkdown()` utility function to generate formatted markdown table of available tools.
- Refactored `showMarkdownPanel()` helper to reduce duplication in markdown display logic across commands.
Plugins can now be installed at user scope (global) or project scope
(per-project, higher capability priority). Scope is encoded in registry
file location, not a metadata field:
user: ~/.omp/plugins/installed_plugins.json
project: <nearest-project>/.omp/plugins/installed_plugins.json
cache: ~/.omp/plugins/cache/plugins/ (shared, path-referenced)
Project root discovery: resolveActiveProjectRegistryPath(cwd) walks up
from cwd looking for the nearest .omp/ directory, falling back to the
nearest .git root. This is the single resolver used by install, uninstall,
list, upgrade, discovery, and doctor.
Discovery: listClaudePluginRoots(home, cwd?) reads both registries when
cwd is provided. Project entries shadow user entries for the same plugin
ID. Cache key is canonical ("${home}:${resolvedProjectPath}") so nested
cwds within the same project share a cache entry.
Manager changes:
- installPlugin({ scope? }): routes registry reads/writes by scope;
checks collectReferencedPaths() across both registries before deleting
any cached plugin dir to prevent cross-scope data loss
- uninstallPlugin(id, scope?), setPluginEnabled(id, enabled, scope?),
upgradePlugin(id, scope?): throw a disambiguation error when the plugin
exists in both scopes and no scope is specified
- upgradePluginAcrossScopes(id): new; upgrades all scopes the plugin is
installed in; returns InstalledPluginEntry[]
- upgradeAllPlugins(): uses upgradePluginAcrossScopes; result includes scope
- listInstalledPlugins(): returns InstalledPluginSummary[] merged from both
registries; user entries marked shadowedBy: "project" when overridden
CLI: omp plugin install|uninstall|upgrade|enable|disable --scope user|project
Slash: /marketplace install [--scope user|project] name@marketplace
MarketplaceManager constructed with projectInstalledRegistryPath in all
CLI handlers and builtin-registry.ts via resolveActiveProjectRegistryPath.
.gitignore: .omp/plugins/ added (local runtime state, not committed).
preloadPluginRoots/clearClaudePluginRootsCache carry cwd through for LSP.
main.ts passes getProjectDir() at startup.
Tests: 226 pass across 13 files. New: project-scope.test.ts (resolver
walk-up, .git fallback, null return, canonical path, shadow precedence);
manager scope tests (registry isolation, disambiguation errors, cross-scope
cache-ref protection, upgradePluginAcrossScopes, shadowedBy marking).
fixes#581
Two /move bugs on Windows:
1. Quoted absolute paths (e.g. /move "C:\...") were treated as relative
because surrounding quotes weren't stripped before path.isAbsolute().
2. /move before any model response threw ENOENT because the session
.jsonl file hadn't been created on disk yet (lazy-persist).
Changes:
- Extract stripOuterDoubleQuotes() helper in path-utils.ts, use in
handleMoveCommand() with empty-after-strip guard
- Guard session file rename with existsSync in moveTo(), leaving
artifact dir rename independently guarded
- Guard #rewriteFile() with hadSessionFile || hasAssistant to preserve
lazy-persist while still updating header cwd for existing files
- Add comprehensive test suite (13 tests) covering all moveTo() edge
cases including header-only sessions, deferred persistence, and
artifact migration
* fix(memories): isolate Phase 2 consolidation per project working directory
The global memory consolidation job used a single 'global' job key,
causing all projects to share one Phase 2 slot. Whichever project
claimed it first got every project's stage1 outputs written into its
memory directory — cross-project contamination.
Root cause:
- GLOBAL_KEY = 'global' was a single key shared by all projects
- listStage1OutputsForGlobal() had no cwd filter — returned ALL
stage1 outputs across all projects
- markGlobalPhase2Succeeded/Failed/Unowned all operated on the same
single global job row
Fix:
- Replace GLOBAL_KEY constant with globalJobKey(cwd) function that
namespaces the job key per project: 'global:/path/to/project'
- Add cwd parameter to all Phase 2 storage functions so each project
maintains its own job slot in the jobs table
- Filter listStage1OutputsForGlobal() by t.cwd = ? so each project
only consolidates its own thread outputs
- Thread cwd from session.sessionManager.getCwd() through runPhase2()
to all storage calls
- Add cwd to markStage1SucceededWithOutput/NoOutput so enqueueGlobal
Watermark targets the correct per-project job key
- Add cwd parameter to enqueueMemoryConsolidation() public API and
update its only external caller (command-controller)
Closes#369
* test(memories): add isolation tests for per-project Phase 2 consolidation
Three tests covering the regression fixed in the previous commit:
- listStage1OutputsForGlobal filters outputs by cwd (no cross-project leak)
- enqueueGlobalWatermark creates separate job rows keyed per-project
- tryClaimGlobalPhase2Job claims only the requested project's slot and
leaves the other project's job independently claimable
* docs: add inline comments for memory isolation fix and tests
