The Claude/Cursor/Gemini/Windsurf importers appended user entries before
project entries, so a project `enabled: false` could not claim its dedupe key
ahead of a same-named user server and the disable was silently ignored. Load
project entries first, matching the native/Codex loaders, so a project disable
suppresses a same-named user server.
Updated docs/mcp-config.md to reflect the project-first precedence and added
compound regression coverage.
Fixes#7652
Set HOME and os.homedir() to a dedicated temporary directory for each translated-provider fixture, then restore both after every test. This prevents real user MCP configs from shadowing the project fixture through capability deduplication.
The Claude Code, Cursor, Gemini CLI, Windsurf, and VS Code importers built
their canonical MCPServer object without mapping serverConfig.enabled, so a
server declared with "enabled": false stayed undefined and the central
suppressServer filter never fired. Only disabledServers masked the gap.
Map the field in each importer, mirroring opencode.ts and codex.ts, and add
a table-driven regression test across all five importers.
Fixes#7652
Wave-3 review finding on #7586:
- scripts/release.test.ts ran in neither CI nor the documented root
command, so the release-version regression assertions guarded nothing
- add it to test:scripts and invoke that file from the workspace job
- the job deliberately does not run all of test:scripts: musl-release
fails on main, so the whole group would red this job on an unrelated
break
Review findings on #7586:
- validate an explicit release version before comparing; the shared
comparator never throws, so 999.bad previously reached every manifest
- ci-release-notes imports the comparator by relative path: the
release_github job runs without bun install
- route Bun cache pruning through compareVersions and delete
compareSemverLikeVersions
- regression test for the release-version guard
Threaded the loopback hostname returned by startServer through the omp stats CLI and /stats slash command so the browser and logged URL target the actual listener instead of localhost.
Fixes#7633
Selected PUPPETEER_EXECUTABLE_PATH before probing system browser installations so compatible headless-shell binaries remain usable by the shared daemon.
Added an isolated Windows candidate-selection regression probe.
Fixes#7601
Detected path-embedded OMP line selectors when reporting Cursor read results and stopped treating ranged payload lengths as whole-file totals.
Exposed exact source line counts from EOF-reaching read results and covered both the wire response and read metadata contracts.
Fixes#7590
OpenAI-compatible endpoints such as Synthetic advertise vision support through a top-level input_modalities array. Include that response field alongside direct input and nested architecture.input_modalities, with regression coverage for a catalog-absent id.
Warm context-v2 rows cached before server input-modality parsing pinned vision-capable ids at input: ["text"] until a forced refresh. Bump the namespace to context-v3 so the modality fix takes effect on the next online-if-uncached refresh, and add a regression proving v2 rows are orphaned.
Keep the richer LM Studio /api/v0/models input metadata ahead of the thin OpenAI-compatible row while retaining row-first behavior for generic openai-models-list discovery. Add a regression covering a text-only /v1/models row paired with a native VLM record.
discoverOpenAIModelsList never consulted the /v1/models row's input
field, so custom virtual tier ids absent from the bundled catalog fell
through to the ["text"] fallback and showed images: no even when the
server advertised input: ["text","image"]. Parse the direct input array
and OpenRouter-style architecture.input_modalities from the response row,
preferring server-reported modalities over native metadata and the
bundled reference.
Fixes#7583
- Preserved escaped control characters for the downstream reinterpretation safety decision.
- Covered the backslash-escaped git inline shell-alias bypass.
Fixes#7552
- Treated double-quoted shell-control chars like single-quoted ones so a -c/-e reinterpretation option still gates them.
- Covered the double-quoted git inline shell-alias bypass.
Fixes#7552
- Replaced the raw character guard with quote-aware scanning while retaining command substitution and unquoted shell-control protections.
- Added regression coverage for the reported Cargo benchmark filter.
Fixes#7552
- Introduce `@oh-my-pi/omptype` as a new ArkType-compatible schema validation package featuring a lazy JIT runtime, JSON Schema emission, and compatibility adapters.
- Replace `arktype` across workspace packages and test utilities with `@oh-my-pi/omptype`.
- Add benchmark suites, tests, and documentation for the new validation engine and adapters.
- Update workspace build, test runner, and release configurations to include the new package.
install_binary downloaded the release binary, chmod'd it, and printed
"✓ Installed omp" with exit 0 without ever running it. Bun's musl-target
binaries link libstdc++/libgcc dynamically, which stock Alpine/musl systems
lack, so the binary exits 127 with relocation errors while the installer
still claimed success.
Smoke-run `omp --version` after install; on failure print the captured
error, add the `apk add libstdc++ libgcc` remediation for musl targets,
and exit non-zero. Document the Alpine/musl runtime requirement in the
README install section.
Fixes#7545
- Split the Python bridge signal: the raw abort reaches tools (so
subagents die with the turn) while a shielded signal governs how long
the host waits, so a cancel can no longer settle a cell on top of a
still-running isolation merge.
- Mirrored the contract in the JS runtime: abort in-flight tool calls
immediately, then drain any deferExternalAbort phase before killing
the worker, and refuse new bridge calls once cancelled.
- Held a finished worker result until the run's tool calls drain. A
floated agent() previously settled the cell at once, dropping the
run's abort listener and leaving the subagent running with nothing
able to cancel it.
- Added regression coverage for all three, each verified to fail
without its fix.
- Handled broken pipe errors across tail output and follow paths by translating them to a silent SIGPIPE exit code.
- Prevented stderr noise when downstream pipeline readers exit early, matching native tail behavior.
Load project Codex MCP entries before user entries so a disabled project server claims its dedupe key before a same-named user server can survive.
Added regression coverage for project-over-user disable precedence.
Fixes#7538
Carry enabled = false through discovery so loadAllMCPConfigs' suppress
path can claim the dedupe key (keeping a same-named lower-priority
source disabled) and honor the user force-enable allowlist. Dropping the
entry outright defeated both.
