- Introduce `@oh-my-pi/omptype` as a new ArkType-compatible schema validation package featuring a lazy JIT runtime, JSON Schema emission, and compatibility adapters.
- Replace `arktype` across workspace packages and test utilities with `@oh-my-pi/omptype`.
- Add benchmark suites, tests, and documentation for the new validation engine and adapters.

inspect_image resolved @vision with resolveModelFromString, which dropped the
:high thinking selector, and passed no reasoning to the oneshot. The
google-gemini-cli mapper then emitted thinkingBudget: 0, which thinking-only
Gemini models reject with HTTP 400. Resolve the role's explicit thinking
selector, clamp it to the model's supported efforts, and forward it as the
oneshot reasoning.

- Replaced legacy `pi/` role alias prefix with canonical `@` syntax across model resolution, documentation, and tests.
- Added support for bare `*` default alias and multiple alias prefix detection with custom role resolution in `resolveConfiguredRolePattern()`.
- Enhanced thinking suffix parsing to accept unambiguous abbreviations (minimum 2 characters) for effort and level selectors.
- Extended `resolveCliModel()` and `filterAvailableModelsByEnabledPatterns()` to accept settings parameter for role alias resolution from `--model` flag.
Wraps InspectImageTool.execute's instrumentedCompleteSimple call with an
AbortSignal.timeout combined via AbortSignal.any with the caller's abort
signal, so a stalled provider fails fast with a ToolError instead of
hanging until manual abort. Timeout is configurable via new
inspect_image.timeoutMs setting (default 180000ms, 0 disables). Manual
abort still surfaces as 'inspect_image request aborted' — the tool
distinguishes timeout via timeoutSignal.aborted && !signal.aborted.

Migrate 203 test files (356 call sites) from fs.rm/fs.rmSync to
removeWithRetries/removeSyncWithRetries to reduce EBUSY test failures
on Windows. removeWithRetries is now exported from @oh-my-pi/pi-utils.
The migration uses a regex-based approach that:
- Replaces fs.rm(path, { recursive, force }) → removeWithRetries(path)
- Replaces fs.rmSync(path, { recursive, force }) → removeSyncWithRetries(path)
- Replaces fs.rm(path) → removeWithRetries(path) (no options)
- Skips fs.rm/fs.rmSync inside template literals (bun --eval scripts)
- Adds imports to existing @oh-my-pi/pi-utils import or creates new one
- Removes unused fs imports where fs.rm was the only fs usage (4 files)
- Migrated all wire protocol, schema definitions, and tools validation from Zod to ArkType across multiple packages.
- Updated extension runtimes, custom tools loader, and TypeBox compatibility shim to expose and use ArkType instances.
- Added a comprehensive ArkType migration guide, validation parity tests, and helper utilities.
- Removed redundant PDF asset routing and parsing implementations from the read tool.
Connected createAgentSession ToolSession instances to AgentSession.getImageAttachments so inspect_image can resolve Image #N and attachment://N in real sessions. Added coverage that the real inspect_image tool session sees live user attachments.
Resolved inspect_image attachment labels and attachment URIs against the latest chat image attachments before falling back to file-path loading. Added regression coverage for Image #N labels, bracketed image markers, attachment://N URIs, missing attachment diagnostics, and cwd-independent resolution.
