The CI gate failed in several non-overlapping ways once the full coding-agent suite ran here: tests wrote into the real $HOME (`/srv/agent-home`) which is read-only, a fixture rotated stored Anthropic API keys but Settings reloaded the user models.yml and shadowed them, an OAuth callback server bound to `hostname:"localhost"` (loopback unreachable in this runtime), a built-in tool metadata assertion only saw `github` when `gh` was installed, and the GithubTool `pr_checkout` worktree assertions assumed `~/.omp/wt` but `XDG_DATA_HOME` redirected `getWorktreesDir()` to `$XDG_DATA_HOME/omp/wt`.
Fixes:
- `packages/ai/src/registry/oauth/callback-server.ts`: drop `hostname: "localhost"` when no caller-supplied hostname overrides it. Bun on Linux refused inbound connections to the listener when bound explicitly to `localhost`; defaulting to Bun.serves default binding restores loopback connectivity.
- `packages/coding-agent/test/status-line-path.test.ts`: route the `~/Projects` fixtures through a writable temp home (spy `os.homedir()`), housed under the repo `.wt/` worktree scratch so the temp home is not classified as a status-line scratch root.
- `packages/coding-agent/test/skills.test.ts`: ditto for the `~/.pi-skills-test-*` mkdtemp in the tilde-expansion test.
- `packages/coding-agent/test/marketplace/project-scope.test.ts`: stop writing `~/.git`; build the entire home-dir guard fixture in a temp dir and spy `os.homedir()`.
- `packages/coding-agent/test/oauth-flow.test.ts`: wrap each callback fetch in a brief retry so the simulated browser redirect tolerates the few-ms gap before the Bun callback server starts accepting connections.
- `packages/coding-agent/test/tools/gh.test.ts`: extend `setupTempHome()` to clear `XDG_DATA_HOME`/`XDG_STATE_HOME`/`XDG_CACHE_HOME` for the duration of the test so the rebuilt dirs resolver routes `getWorktreesDir()` back through the spied home, then restore them on cleanup.
- `packages/coding-agent/test/tool-discovery/initial-tools.test.ts`: instantiate `GithubTool` directly in the metadata fixture so the assertion runs even when `gh` is unavailable (GithubTool.createIf returns null without `gh`).
- `packages/coding-agent/test/agent-session-retry-cap.test.ts`: pass an isolated `models.yml` path to `ModelRegistry` so the two-Anthropic-key fixture is the authoritative credential source instead of any user-level command-backed Anthropic key.
Verification:
- `bun check` → passed
- `bun run test` (full coding-agent suite, 4 buckets, all chunks) → 0 fails
Fixes#3639
Coerced missing scope on installed_plugins.json entries to user before suppressing them, matching listClaudePluginRoots semantics, so users carrying registries written before the scope field still see marketplace plugins hidden from plugin list and doctor.
Fixes#3628
Derived marketplace runtime package names from plugin IDs when package.json is absent, preserving suppression for config-only marketplace installs. Added regression coverage for package-less LSP plugin installs in plugin list and doctor.
Fixes#3628
Compared marketplace runtime entries by realpath before suppressing link-only plugin-manager entries. Added a regression where a local runtime link reuses a marketplace package name but points at a different path.
Fixes#3628
Filtered marketplace-managed runtime symlinks out of the npm plugin listing and OMP extension-package status provider while keeping marketplace installs available to the runtime loader. Added regressions for both duplicate surfaces.
Fixes#3628
Migrate 203 test files (356 call sites) from fs.rm/fs.rmSync to
removeWithRetries/removeSyncWithRetries to reduce EBUSY test failures
on Windows. removeWithRetries is now exported from @oh-my-pi/pi-utils.
The migration uses a regex-based approach that:
- Replaces fs.rm(path, { recursive, force }) → removeWithRetries(path)
- Replaces fs.rmSync(path, { recursive, force }) → removeSyncWithRetries(path)
- Replaces fs.rm(path) → removeWithRetries(path) (no options)
- Skips fs.rm/fs.rmSync inside template literals (bun --eval scripts)
- Adds imports to existing @oh-my-pi/pi-utils import or creates new one
- Removes unused fs imports where fs.rm was the only fs usage (4 files)
Made getEnabledPlugins walk both the user plugins root and the active project plugins root, with project entries shadowing same-named user entries. This makes `omp plugin install --scope project name@marketplace` discoverable to slash commands and the extension loader, matching the existing user-scope path. Added regression coverage that exercises the project-scope install through the runtime loader.\n\nFollow-up to #3244 review.
Added runtime symlink and lockfile bookkeeping for marketplace installs and removals so installed plugins are visible to the plugin loader. Updated manager coverage for install, uninstall, enablement, and loader discovery.\n\nFixes #3244
- Replaced Bun.sleep and wall-clock timing with fake timers (vi.useFakeTimers), release gates, and deterministic polling across 15+ test files to eliminate flakiness and improve speed.
- Consolidated per-test fixture setup into beforeAll/afterAll lifecycle hooks across 20+ test files, reducing redundant initialization and improving test performance by reusing shared immutable fixtures.
- Stubbed network calls in ModelRegistry and test discovery to prevent unintended outbound requests during test execution.
- Replaced subprocess-based test coordination (file markers, Bun.sleep polling) with in-memory fakes (FakeWebSocket, FakeLspServer, VirtualClock) for deterministic, fast test execution.
`omp plugin install .` (and any cwd-relative, absolute, or tilde-prefixed
spec) failed with `Invalid package name: .` because
`classifyInstallTarget` only emitted `marketplace` / `npm`, so local paths
fell through to `validatePackageName`, which rejects every non-npm name.
The classifier now emits a third `local` arm for `.`, `..`, `./…`,
`..\…`, `~`, `~/…`, `~\…`, `/…`, `C:\…`, `C:/…`, and `\\unc` specs.
`handleInstall` dispatches that arm to `PluginManager.link()` — the same
code path as `omp plugin link <path>` — so the two verbs are
interchangeable for local plugin directories. `--dry-run` short-circuits
before any filesystem work, `--scope`/`--force` surface a warning since
they are no-ops here (link is idempotent, and scope only governs
marketplace installs).
Coverage: thirteen-case classifier matrix in `marketplace/cli.test.ts`
plus a new `plugin-install-local.test.ts` with spy-based routing checks
for `./`, `../`, `/`, `~/`, plus a real-filesystem test that stages a
plugin folder, invokes `runPluginCommand`, and verifies the resulting
symlink + lockfile entry. The new test calls `mock.restore()` in
`afterEach` so `piUtils` / `MarketplaceManager.prototype` spies do not
leak into sibling suites.
Fixes#1945
Adds .omp-plugin/marketplace.json as the preferred catalog location for omp
marketplaces. fetchMarketplace now searches .omp-plugin/marketplace.json
first and falls back to .claude-plugin/marketplace.json so existing
Claude Code-compatible marketplaces keep loading.
Docs and authoring skill updated to reflect the new preferred path.

Loaded marketplace lspServers metadata from Claude plugin caches and embedded it for OMP marketplace installs so config-only plugins register without package code.
Fixes#1352
- Replaced duplicated plugin-registry cache invalidation blocks with clearPluginRootsAndCaches in command and selector setup paths.
- Updated OMP plugin registry path resolution to use getPluginsDir for reads and cache invalidation, matching marketplace write locations.
- Removed a redundant project-scope marketplace test after centralizing cache-root invalidation logic.
Plugins can now be installed at user scope (global) or project scope
(per-project, higher capability priority). Scope is encoded in registry
file location, not a metadata field:
user: ~/.omp/plugins/installed_plugins.json
project: <nearest-project>/.omp/plugins/installed_plugins.json
cache: ~/.omp/plugins/cache/plugins/ (shared, path-referenced)
Project root discovery: resolveActiveProjectRegistryPath(cwd) walks up
from cwd looking for the nearest .omp/ directory, falling back to the
nearest .git root. This is the single resolver used by install, uninstall,
list, upgrade, discovery, and doctor.
Discovery: listClaudePluginRoots(home, cwd?) reads both registries when
cwd is provided. Project entries shadow user entries for the same plugin
ID. Cache key is canonical ("${home}:${resolvedProjectPath}") so nested
cwds within the same project share a cache entry.
Manager changes:
- installPlugin({ scope? }): routes registry reads/writes by scope;
checks collectReferencedPaths() across both registries before deleting
any cached plugin dir to prevent cross-scope data loss
- uninstallPlugin(id, scope?), setPluginEnabled(id, enabled, scope?),
upgradePlugin(id, scope?): throw a disambiguation error when the plugin
exists in both scopes and no scope is specified
- upgradePluginAcrossScopes(id): new; upgrades all scopes the plugin is
installed in; returns InstalledPluginEntry[]
- upgradeAllPlugins(): uses upgradePluginAcrossScopes; result includes scope
- listInstalledPlugins(): returns InstalledPluginSummary[] merged from both
registries; user entries marked shadowedBy: "project" when overridden
CLI: omp plugin install|uninstall|upgrade|enable|disable --scope user|project
Slash: /marketplace install [--scope user|project] name@marketplace
MarketplaceManager constructed with projectInstalledRegistryPath in all
CLI handlers and builtin-registry.ts via resolveActiveProjectRegistryPath.
.gitignore: .omp/plugins/ added (local runtime state, not committed).
preloadPluginRoots/clearClaudePluginRootsCache carry cwd through for LSP.
main.ts passes getProjectDir() at startup.
Tests: 226 pass across 13 files. New: project-scope.test.ts (resolver
walk-up, .git fallback, null return, canonical path, shadow precedence);
manager scope tests (registry isolation, disambiguation errors, cross-scope
cache-ref protection, upgradePluginAcrossScopes, shadowedBy marking).
fixes#581
- Honor enabled:false flag in listClaudePluginRoots (skip disabled plugins)
- Normalize local source URIs to absolute paths in addMarketplace
- Resolver returns explicit tempCloneRoot instead of path-based inference
