F6: defer the JSON -> YAML migration out of ConfigFile's constructor and
add an async path so the boot sequence stops blocking the event loop on
sync I/O. New ConfigFile.tryLoadAsync/loadAsync/loadOrDefaultAsync/
getMtimeMsAsync and static ConfigFile.warmup. The migration is now
idempotent (per-process cache) so relocate() does not re-run it.
ModelRegistry.create(authStorage, modelsPath?) is a new async factory
that runs the warmup before the sync constructor's bundled-model load.
Production call sites (main.ts, sdk.ts, task/executor.ts, commit
pipelines, SDK example) all switched. Sync new ModelRegistry(...)
constructor is still supported for tests.
F2: rewrite MemorySessionStorage's mirror as { chunks: string[]; byteLen;
mtimeMs } so writeLineSync appends a single chunk in O(1) instead of
read-modify-writing the entire file (which was O(N) per append, O(N^2)
per session). statSync now reports true UTF-8 byte length instead of
character count. readTextPrefix walks chunks until the byte budget is
exhausted instead of materialising the full mirror.
Also rolls in per-package CHANGELOG entries for F1-F8.
- Migrated authentication storage from JSON-based (auth.json) to database-based (agent.db) format across test files and configuration.
- Simplified auth storage discovery in sdk.ts by removing manual path construction and fallback logic in favor of centralized getAgentDbPath() function.
- Removed dbPath instance property from AuthStorage class as database path is now managed centrally.
- Updated environment variable precedence documentation to reflect agent.db instead of auth.json as the lowest priority source.
- Removed OAuth provider section header comments from multiple test files for cleaner test organization.
- Added support for JSON and JSONC configuration file formats without requiring migration to YAML.
- Removed Prettier configuration files (.prettierignore and .prettierrc) and migrated formatting to Biome.
- Updated Biome configuration from version 2.3.11 to 2.3.12 and changed arrowParentheses rule from 'always' to 'asNeeded'.
- Pinned @biomejs/biome dependency to exact version 2.3.12 in package.json and bun.lock.
- Applied consistent arrow function formatting across 489 files by removing unnecessary parentheses around single parameters.
- Removed blank lines after comment blocks and reorganized imports for consistency across the codebase.
- Renamed CLI binary and package from 'pi' to 'omp' across all platforms and installers.
- Changed environment variable prefix from PI_* to OMP_* with automatic migration support.
- Changed configuration directory from ~/.pi/ to ~/.omp/ with multi-path fallback discovery.
- Added getConfigDirPaths(), findConfigFile(), and readConfigFile() functions for config resolution across .omp, .pi, and .claude directories.
- Renamed npm package scope from @mariozechner to @oh-my-pi across all packages for consistent branding.
- Removed packages/pods directory and all related pod management functionality.
- Updated import paths and module declarations throughout codebase to reflect new package names.
- Reformatted code with consistent trailing comma removal and ternary operator alignment.
