- Added new system prompts that ask models to emit titles inside `<title>` markers when forced tool calls are unavailable.
- Updated `generateTitleOnline` to use marker-based prompting and disable required `set_title` tool calls for models that do not support forced tool choice.
- Adjusted title parsing to extract the `<title>...</title>` value and fall back to stripped marker text when wrapping tags are incomplete.
Upstream force-rewrote history; this branch carried old-SHA twins of the
rewritten commits. All non-goal conflicts resolved to upstream (verified
ours == old upstream tip). Goal-side reconciliation:
- cli.ts: profile bootstrap woven into the new lazy-import/resolveCliArgv
structure; worker-host entry declaration deferred until after profile
selection (pi-utils/env eagerly snapshots the agent dir .env); the
floating runCli call guarded with import.meta.main || !Bun.isMainThread
so importing runCli stays side-effect free while Worker re-entry works.
- args.ts/flag-tables.ts: kept profile/alias branches; upstream's new
repeatable --config overlay flag moved into STRING_SETTERS.
- Changelogs: upstream-released bullets deduped out of Unreleased; profile
entries restored under Unreleased.
- task/index.ts: removed duplicated validateTaskIds block from auto-merge.
- add discovery of `TITLE_SYSTEM.md` and pass it through interactive startup context
- route custom title prompts to online and local tiny title generators via protocol
- update session-title docs and changelog with override behavior
- add tests for prompt discovery, forwarding, and fallback to bundled title prompts
Native user-level config discovery (MCP, skills, rules, slash commands, prompts, instructions, hooks, tools, settings, extensions, and the top-level SYSTEM.md/RULES.md/AGENTS.md) now resolves the user scope through getAgentDir() in builtin.ts, omp-extension-roots.ts, and the discovery-layer getUserPath() helper. A named profile sees only its own ~/.omp/profiles/<name>/agent config instead of the default profile's ~/.omp/agent leaking into every profile, matching the /mcp config writer and getMCPConfigPath("user").
discoverExtensionModulePaths now detects top-level symlinked directories that the native glob skips (follow_links=false) and synthesizes their index/package.json entry-point matches, so an extension shared across profiles via a symlink loads like a real directory. Symlinked extension files were already handled.
cli: check --tiny-worker on the profile-flag-stripped resolvedArgv, matching the adjacent --smoke-test check and launch routing.
- Added docs/system-prompt-customization.md covering precedence,
replace-vs-append semantics, the verbatim insertion rule for
template syntax, deduplication, and discovery behavior across
the primary findConfigFile path and the capability layer.
- Linked the new doc from docs/config-usage.md so the existing
SYSTEM.md reference points at the full contract.

- Replaced all StringEnum(...) usages with z.enum([...]) across tools, examples, and tests.
- Removed StringEnum re-export from @oh-my-pi/pi-coding-agent public API.
- Condensed verbose tool parameter descriptions to minimal lowercase phrases.
- Renamed AuthCredentialStore to SqliteAuthCredentialStore at usage sites.
- Moved documentation files from packages/coding-agent/docs/ to root docs/ directory to flatten the documentation structure.
- Updated all internal documentation links to account for the new file locations, adjusting relative paths to maintain correct references across the monorepo.
- Updated README.md and issue template configuration to reference documentation at the new root docs/ location instead of packages/coding-agent/docs/.
