- Added `extraBody` merging into OpenAI Responses request params.
- Fixed xAI OAuth redirect URI to fail fast on port conflicts.
- Exposed `antigravity` and `xai` as explicit `providers.image` options.
- Added `isImageProviderPreference` guard, replacing inline string checks.
- Fixed TTS tool to resolve output path relative to cwd and require write approval.
Add an explicit clear-scrollback render option for intentional transcript replacement and use it when switching, branching, reloading, or creating sessions. Regular active redraws continue to preserve terminal scrollback.
Fixes#1295
- Added hideThinkingSummary options across stream, agent, and session payload paths.
- Routed Coding-Agent hideThinkingBlock toggles to agent hideThinkingSummary during session updates.
- Updated OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, and Codex requests to omit reasoning.summary when hide/ summary is null.
- Reworked system-prompt preparation with per-step timeouts, fallback defaults, and step-level warnings.
- Replaced duplicated plugin-registry cache invalidation blocks with clearPluginRootsAndCaches in command and selector setup paths.
- Updated OMP plugin registry path resolution to use getPluginsDir for reads and cache invalidation, matching marketplace write locations.
- Removed a redundant project-scope marketplace test after centralizing cache-root invalidation logic.
- Added a new boolean statusLine.sessionAccent setting to settings schema and propagated it through status-line preview, controller, and component setting updates.
- Updated status line rendering and interactive border coloring to disable session-based accent colors when the setting is false.
- Added a regression test verifying the status-line gap uses theme border color instead of session accent when session accents are disabled.
Fixes#918
- Removed title-source aware branching from session terminal-title and accent helpers, and updated callers to use session name plus cwd only.
- Dropped UUID-based recent-session naming by preferring explicit header titles or first user prompts and generating an "Untitled · <time>" fallback.
- Adjusted welcome session-row rendering for width-aware name truncation and disabled reasoning in title generation requests to keep terminal titles concise.
- Documented and removed `utils/oauth` from the `ai` package entrypoint, noting it as a breaking change.
- Refactored `cli`, `auth-storage`, and `utils/oauth` to load provider modules via scoped dynamic `import()` calls.
- Removed top-level provider imports and barrel exports from `utils/oauth/index.ts`, streamlining oauth module loading.
- Consolidated OAuth symbol, type, and provider imports in coding-agent and tests to `@oh-my-pi/pi-ai/utils/oauth` modules.
- Defined `DEFAULT_LOCAL_TOKEN` locally in model-registry and removed its cross-package OAuth import usage.
Before this change, every navigateTree → renderInitialMessages call path
performed two independent O(N) session-tree walks:
1. agent-session.ts:6586 buildDisplaySessionContext() [inside navigateTree]
2. ui-helpers.ts:402 sessionManager.buildSessionContext() [inside renderInitialMessages]
Changes:
- agent-session.ts: navigateTree() now calls sessionManager.buildSessionContext()
once, derives the display (deobfuscated) context from the raw result, and
returns the raw SessionContext in the result object.
- ui-helpers.ts: renderInitialMessages() accepts an optional prebuiltContext
parameter; reuses it when provided, falls back to buildSessionContext() otherwise.
- interactive-mode.ts: forwards prebuiltContext through the wrapper.
- modes/types.ts: updates InteractiveModeContext interface to match.
- selector-controller.ts: passes result.sessionContext from navigateTree into
renderInitialMessages(), closing the deduplication loop.
Bench (100-msg session, 200 iterations):
two walks [BEFORE]: 0.0702ms/op
one walk [AFTER]: 0.0298ms/op
Saved: 0.0404ms/navigation (57.5% reduction per navigate)
Tests: render-initial-messages-dedupe.test.ts asserts buildSessionContext is
called 0 times when a prebuilt context is passed, 1 time as fallback.
- Added `openai` and `openai-codex` as image providers and let `providers.image=auto` prefer GPT images.
- Updated settings, selector, and SDK wiring so OpenAI image providers pass through `setPreferredImageProvider`.
- Replaced Gemini-only image tooling with `image-gen` and added OpenAI/Codex hosted-image execution with SSE parsing.
- Added image-gen and handoff tests, including final-yield no-compaction regression and OpenAI payload/header assertions.
Two regressions from 33dfce738:
1. selector-controller.ts imported nonexistent clearPluginRootsAndCaches
(was clearClaudePluginRootsCache). The previous commit collapsed the
inline closure that invalidated fs caches for plugin JSON files into
a direct function reference that doesn't exist. Restored the original
closure with its fs cache invalidation logic.
2. scrollToSelectedEntry() snapped oversized entries back to their top
on every PgDn/PgUp, defeating the line-scroll fallback. The condition
'entryTop < scrollOffset' fires whenever the user pages down within
a tall entry. Fixed: only snap when the viewport has no overlap with
the entry (completely above or completely below it).
- Replace `ReturnType<typeof this.ctx.ui.showOverlay>` with concrete
`OverlayHandle` type from @oh-my-pi/pi-tui
- Remove `as any` casts and redundant `as SessionMessageEntry` in
#loadTranscript; discriminated union narrowing on `entry.type` and
`msg.role` is sufficient
- Add missing `replaceTabs()` on collapsed user/developer preview text,
matching every other collapsed render path
- Standardized missing-file read errors and now return `File not found: <path>` for absent edit targets.
- Centralized AI provider, usage, and OAuth helpers into shared modules to remove duplicated logic.
- Migrated OAuth/API-key login flows to shared factory helpers and removed inline prompt/token-exchange code.
- Reused shared tools and formatter utilities for discovery, stream tails, LSP batching, and source formatting.
- Consolidated repeated test helpers and fixtures into shared modules, replacing inline helper duplicates.
Three issues from first test:
1. Viewer was cramped at bottom of screen because it replaced the
editor container inline. Now uses TUI's showOverlay system with
anchor=bottom-center, width=100%, maxHeight=100% for full terminal.
2. Text was truncated at hardcoded 90 chars. Removed MAX_TOOL_RESULT_LINE_WIDTH
— let the TUI framework handle wrapping at actual terminal width.
3. Enter key didn't trigger expand/collapse. Added matchesKey(keyData, 'enter')
alongside raw '\r'/'\n' checks.
Also: overrides Container.render() in viewer mode to produce viewport-
sliced output directly, with proper height computation from terminal rows.
- Propagated session title source through terminal-title update calls so auto and user names are handled consistently across controllers.
- Suppressed auto-generated names in status-line segments and completion messages by falling back to cwd-based titles.
- Updated title formatter tests to verify auto-generated and user-specified session titles produce different terminal labels.
- Added canonical model equivalence types, cache helpers, and registry APIs for provider variant lookup.
- Changed model resolution to apply canonical ID overrides/excludes with provider order before fallback matching.
- Added canonical and provider model views in list-models and selector UI with canonical sorting/persistence.
- Updated role/model persistence to store selectors while runtime now resolves concrete canonical-backed provider models.
Wire EventBus through task runtime so subagent lifecycle and progress
events propagate to the TUI. Add SessionObserverRegistry to track
active sessions, and a session observer overlay accessible via Ctrl+S
that shows a picker of running subagents and a read-only transcript
viewer that reads the subagent's session JSONL file to display
thinking, text, tool calls, and results.
- Add TASK_SUBAGENT_LIFECYCLE_CHANNEL for start/end events
- Add SubagentProgressPayload.sessionFile for session file tracking
- Pass eventBus through sdk.ts -> main.ts -> InteractiveMode
- SessionObserverRegistry with multi-listener onChange pattern
- Overlay picker preserves selection position across live refreshes
- Viewer renders full transcript from session JSONL (thinking, text,
tool calls with smart arg summaries, inline tool results)
When a plugin is installed in both user and project scope, the selector
now shows separate scoped entries (e.g. 'plugin-name@1.0 [project]' and
'plugin-name@1.0 [user]') and forwards the selected scope to
uninstallPlugin(), preventing the disambiguation error introduced when
dual-scope support was added.
Plugins can now be installed at user scope (global) or project scope
(per-project, higher capability priority). Scope is encoded in registry
file location, not a metadata field:
user: ~/.omp/plugins/installed_plugins.json
project: <nearest-project>/.omp/plugins/installed_plugins.json
cache: ~/.omp/plugins/cache/plugins/ (shared, path-referenced)
Project root discovery: resolveActiveProjectRegistryPath(cwd) walks up
from cwd looking for the nearest .omp/ directory, falling back to the
nearest .git root. This is the single resolver used by install, uninstall,
list, upgrade, discovery, and doctor.
Discovery: listClaudePluginRoots(home, cwd?) reads both registries when
cwd is provided. Project entries shadow user entries for the same plugin
ID. Cache key is canonical ("${home}:${resolvedProjectPath}") so nested
cwds within the same project share a cache entry.
Manager changes:
- installPlugin({ scope? }): routes registry reads/writes by scope;
checks collectReferencedPaths() across both registries before deleting
any cached plugin dir to prevent cross-scope data loss
- uninstallPlugin(id, scope?), setPluginEnabled(id, enabled, scope?),
upgradePlugin(id, scope?): throw a disambiguation error when the plugin
exists in both scopes and no scope is specified
- upgradePluginAcrossScopes(id): new; upgrades all scopes the plugin is
installed in; returns InstalledPluginEntry[]
- upgradeAllPlugins(): uses upgradePluginAcrossScopes; result includes scope
- listInstalledPlugins(): returns InstalledPluginSummary[] merged from both
registries; user entries marked shadowedBy: "project" when overridden
CLI: omp plugin install|uninstall|upgrade|enable|disable --scope user|project
Slash: /marketplace install [--scope user|project] name@marketplace
MarketplaceManager constructed with projectInstalledRegistryPath in all
CLI handlers and builtin-registry.ts via resolveActiveProjectRegistryPath.
.gitignore: .omp/plugins/ added (local runtime state, not committed).
preloadPluginRoots/clearClaudePluginRootsCache carry cwd through for LSP.
main.ts passes getProjectDir() at startup.
Tests: 226 pass across 13 files. New: project-scope.test.ts (resolver
walk-up, .git fallback, null return, canonical path, shadow precedence);
manager scope tests (registry isolation, disambiguation errors, cross-scope
cache-ref protection, upgradePluginAcrossScopes, shadowedBy marking).

* feat(mcp): resource notifications, subscriptions, and read_resource builtin tool
- Add MCP resource subscription lifecycle (subscribe/unsubscribe on connect/disconnect)
- Wire mcp.notifications setting with live toggle support
- Add debounced followUp injection for resource change notifications
- Add global read_resource builtin tool with server resolution by URI/template scheme
- Add MCP prompt commands (buildMCPPromptCommands) with array content support
- Add server instructions injection into system prompt with attribution
- Add mcp.notificationDebounceMs configurable setting
Client (client.ts):
listResources, listResourceTemplates, readResource with pagination
subscribeToResources, unsubscribeFromResources
listPrompts, getPrompt, serverSupportsPrompts
serverSupportsResources, serverSupportsResourceSubscriptions
Manager (manager.ts):
Notification dispatch with subscribed-URI guard
Concurrent refresh deduplication via pending promise map
setNotificationsEnabled with subscribe/unsubscribe toggle
Tests:
client-resources.test.ts (31 tests)
client-prompts.test.ts (20 tests)
mcp-read-resource.test.ts (13 tests)
* fix(mcp): address PR review - eager prompt init and stale subscription cleanup
P1: Make setOnPromptsChanged eagerly fire for servers that already
have prompts loaded. The callback is registered after MCP discovery
has already loaded prompts and fired the hook, so without this the
handler is never called on the common startup path. The fix is in
the manager itself (not the caller), eliminating the race condition
regardless of when the callback is wired.
P2: Unsubscribe removed resource URIs on resource refresh.
refreshServerResources was subscribing to the new URI set and
overwriting #subscribedResources without unsubscribing URIs that
were previously subscribed but no longer present, leaving stale
subscriptions active on the server.
* fix(mcp): add resources and prompts to /mcp help text and subcommand completions
* feat(mcp): add /mcp notifications command
Shows per-server notification capabilities with subscription state:
- Lists supported notification types (tools/list_changed, resources/list_changed,
prompts/list_changed) with check marks
- Shows resources/subscribe status with active subscription count
- Lists subscribed URIs with green ticks when notifications are enabled
- Displays overall enabled/disabled state (mcp.notifications setting)
* fix(mcp): address PR review comments on race conditions and stale state
- Await subscribe/unsubscribe in refreshServerResources so the refresh
promise doesn't resolve before subscriptions are settled, preventing
a second refresh from racing and overwriting tracking state (P2 #3)
- Guard setNotificationsEnabled subscribe .then() against a disable
that happens while the subscribe request is in-flight (P2 #5)
- Re-check mcp.notifications setting inside debounce setTimeout
callback so toggling off mid-window actually suppresses the
follow-up message (P2 #4)
- Fire onToolsChanged and onPromptsChanged callbacks in
disconnectServer so stale slash commands and tool registrations
are cleaned up when a server is removed (P2 #2)
